Bronny, this is a serious question. About 5 weeks ago I saw a woman on a beach in Fla. She was wearing a bikini, that the bottoms were being held on by body pearcings. 2 were in front just below the navel about 4" apart, and 2 on lower back about 10" apart. no side strings. Is this a new thing, or what?

I am attending a Navy Christmas party soon and the dress code is semi-formal. I don't like to wear dresses, so I was thinking wearing dark jeans and black pumps. I'm not sure if this will qualify for semi-formal attire. Can you send me some ideas for what I could wear?

I have been invited to a casual party at a home where the hosts ask for guests to remove their shoes. During the summer I like to wear loafers without socks, but I am not sure if that is the best thing to do. At an event where the hosts will ask guests to remove their shoes, is it better if I were to wear socks with my shoes so as not to have to go barefoot, or are bare feet acceptable in a situation like this one?
