Hi Bronny, I am wearing the Karen Kane confetti dress to work, do you think it's sufficient to wear to work? It looked fine at home but now that I'm here I don't know... I've put a sweater over it! Help! Carol

Hi Bronny,
I recently got bad whiplash on my neck and neckties have become painful to wear. However, I have a job that requires business formal at work. I would like to know what to do. I've thought of trying bowties, but don't know if they are acceptable for a formal Washington/East Coast workplace. Also, are there extremely light ties available - my normal weight ties make my neck sore after a day or two.
Cheers Marc

Hi Bronny,
What is the salary expectation in fashion designing for a fresher who
has done a diploma course and what should we further expect in this
field?
Cheers,

Hot Weather Work Wardrobe |

Dear Bronny,
Here is Queensland, us working gals are already melting in 30 plus heat - I guess we have months and months to go of this kind of weather. WHAT DO WE WEAR TO WORK to keep our cool and our respect? And more importantly for us post 20something chicks. The boardroom babes can go aircon door to door with their car spaces, and the Gorgeous gals in their 20s can get away with sleeveless etc. Those of us somewhere further along the food chain in wisdom (nicer word that age!) and position in the org need to get it right too and look FABTASTIC at the same time. Could you give a few styling ideas for us. Especially should we need to race to the shops with the spring clothes as the summer collections are even more of shorts and tank tops... And my blacks are just about melting me away already (and a white suit aka David lawrence and Carla and a few others will probably only stay clean with pens etc until about morning coffee :) let alone surviving dropping the kids at school first. Thanks Bronny! The instyle book has a few ideas which might be able to be translated here for Aust but would love to share from your wisdom.
From Jen

High Waisted Corset Trousers |

Dear Bronny,
I really like the new ultra high waisted pants with the buttons up the
front. What sort of body shape do you need to wear these?I'm kinda long
torso with no real hourglass, 40/28/36, 5'7" will they look ok, can I
wear them with a tucked in tshirt or do they require a blouse, do you
have to wear heels with then, will they make my legs look stumpy? With
shoes, should I wear tap mary jane style with them, or is that too
retro-unironic? Do they fold and crinkle when you sit down in them,
thereby rendering your tummy a mass of attention grabbing wrinkles? Do
I need to stand in odd poses to look good when wearing them? got any
tips for making your (my!) arse look bigger?
Love
CatGirl
