Spotless by Shannon Lush and Jennifer Fleming.  Pocket size encyclopaedia of everything you ever wanted to know about stain removal and fabric maintenance – there’s even a section on how to repair balding velvet.
The Penguin Book of Etiquette by Marion von Alderstein, for those who want to not only look like an old-fashioned girl, but act like one too!

www.vintagetrends.com includes a useful timeline of twentieth century fashion history.
www.vintagevixen.com sells clothing for both mean and women, and has an extremely comprehensive inventory.
www.kittygirlvintage.com features amazingly beautiful clothing, and very detailed, useful descriptions. Nothing on this site is cheap, but every item is something you would treasure for years to come. 
www.silvermoonvintage.com sells clothing from as far back as the 1890’s, as well as contemporary replicas of vintage designs.
www.tias.com is an online vintage bazaar that showcases the stock of several separate retailers.  There are vintage clothes aplenty, but the real stars of the show are the antique accessories.
