Just like her former character Marissa Cooper on the O.C, Mischa Barton is a style queen, literally. This year in September she was officially dubbed “Style Queen” at the Life & Style Magazine 2nd style maker’s awards.

So who are we to argue, at just 20yrs of age this 1.75m tall hottie has taken fashion to a new level, what level is this you may ask?

One answer - her own.

She has a unique sense of style and even when employing the help of a stylist (Rachel Zoë when needed) her true style always shines through, she is seen experimenting with all forms of fashion including textures and shape and says her mother, Irish born Nuala, who grew up in London in the 60’s is the reason she favors the Retro look.

Keeping you up to date there is also a rumor on the Hollywood circuit that this fashion bunny is considering joining the ranks of Gwen Stefani and Hillary Duff and creating her own fashion line. No doubt it would be interesting.

She says she never leaves the house for a big carpet event without consulting her mother Nuala because she has a great sense of style and knows what looks good. She has also said she looks to Cate Blanchett as a style icon (yes icons need icons too!)
