Maybe what you are lacking is the basics, those never fail items that you can always trust!

Over the coming weeks AskBronny is going to offer fashion advice on how to build a basic wardrobe. To begin the process let’s start with a quick list.  Maybe you have some of these items already and the rest - well grab your pen and get writing so you can build your wardrobe from bottom to top with the basic, essential items.

Here they are in all their glory, the ‘must haves’ for every basic wardrobe.  The ‘must haves’ that you simply MUST have to build a good closet, remember you are a canvas and the clothes the paint you create with!

2. Pair of boots, flat or heeled
3. Good pair of runners – that you don’t exercise in
4. A good pair of black high heels
5. A pair of jeans that you know you look amazing in
6. Singlets
7. Long black overcoat / jacket
8. LBD or some kind of black dress
9. Fakies, as in the brassiere kind, for those less than pillowed in the chest region
10. a pair of gorgeous underwear that matches and cost a lot
11. slips, long & short
12. Black skivvy
13. denim skirt
14. thongs / flip flops
15. 1 piece of couture
16. scarffs
17. accessories: belts, jewellery, handbags, they all accessorise!
18. beanie (hats!)
19. leggings
20. lightweight jacket (windbreaker)
21. cute tshirts
