Dear Bronny, Thanks so much for answering my last letter. I have a new problem. High-waisted jeans are coming back (sigh what are we to do?) and I've heard that they are hard to pull off. Any tips on how to wear them (eg what to wear them with, style for body shape etc) would be much appreciated! ta! Kitty ANSWER Dear Kitty, Indeed high waisted jeans are making a comeback! Remember 501’s from the late 80s and early 90s! The new high waisted jeans are cut slightly different however (in some extreme cases, right up to underneath the breast). This style can be great to flatten tummies, create bottoms and lengthen legs. 18th Amendment are doing some wonderful higher waisted jeans with a 70s twist. Such as these groovy ones from FrockShop.com.au. Some of these new highwaisted jeans are over the top so I wouldn’t go for anything that sits under your boobs! On the other hand ones that sit either just on or below the belly button can look great. Just remember to balance the affect by either tucking your top into the jeans which gives the full affect of the high waist. You could also wear a belt, beads and go for a stilleto to give the jean length in the leg. Have a look at a few different styles a this groovy little fashion blog fashion.org.au. All in all, you need to think of your body type, high waisted jeans don’t look great on really buxom girls as the jeans look like they are attached to your boobs! On the other hand they look great on shorter people to give length in the leg, they look great with heels and also on taller girls too. Pros for high waisted jeans:
