Cufflinks, Sunnies & Going Commando

Great questions and I think even better for women to read what a man is thinking when it comes to fashion. Let me answer each question individually.

Cufflinks, what do women like or dislike in a cufflink?
Women like cufflinks to be understated, less is more, silver and stylish are always a good go. I would avoid anything gawdy or over the top. Also, consider that your cufflink is not screaming ‘look at me’ but rather complimenting your shirt in an understated way.

Sunglasses, we all know women have multiple pairs but men fall short here (straight ones anyway) what is in and out at the moment?
For men I think a classic pair of sunglasses is always going to be a good idea. This of course depends on your age and how you like to dress. The young mod guys are wearing Tom Cruise 80s vintage Ray Bans which you can get at any spectacle store for around the $100 mark. This particular type of sunnies sit quite low on the face and I wouldn’t recommend this look for everone. In terms of what is in and out – I would forget about that and rather go for a shape that suits you. Look at how it compliments the rest of your face. Nothing gawdy or over the top, black never dates and always looks great on a guy. You may like to try a pair of aviator shades which in my opinion never go out of fashion and look great on men as it was of course men who wore them in the first place.

Commando, to be or not to be, that is the question. What do women really think of a man who goes commando?
For some women if they were discover a man was going commando (for those not sure what this means it means wearing no underwear) they may be a little perturbed. On the other hand in the case of men, whether or not you go ‘commando’ is a personal preference. For example it is often better for a women to go commando if she is wearing a particularly low cute style of jeans, for men however it is a little different. I would say that as long as you are hygienic and not announcing your underwear status to the world that it is fine to go commando. And who knows, if you end up in a romantic situation with a lady – well your commando status might be welcomed in the heat of passion!
