Stephanie Mariani opens the doors on her wardrobe in another of our 'favorite things' series.
Okay, so here's the lowdown on what I love in my wardrobe. My Rings I love my Chanel ring. I love looking the diamanties that make up the two ‘C’’s. It fits me perfectly…almost like Cinderella’s glass slipper… I also love the ring my parents bought for me when I turned 21…a thick white gold band with four incrusted diamonds… and I even designed it myself! Makeup I am head over heels in love with Lancôme makeup. My skin has never looked so flawless and my eyeliner has never stayed so fresh! I’d advise to throw away all your other makeup and look into buying Lancôme. Trust me, you’ll never go back to Maybelline! Lip gloss There’s nothing worse than having dry, crusty lips! I never leave home without some sort of moisturizing gloss to feed my lips! My favourite is good old Vaseline! I sometimes mix it with some eyeshadow and make my own lippy! Jeans and T’s ( and my heels!) I have to say, I was never one to splurge on jeans but then, I discovered Bettina! I adore my Bettina Liano jeans – they fit nice and snuggly and I even bought them at half price! I often team them with one of my Wayne Cooper print T. Shirts and a pair of my many heels (soft pink Mollini ones are my fav!) T-shirt dresses Ok, so I love T. Shirts… my yellow T.Shirt dress has ruffles, pockets, buttons and sits just above the knee. It was sitting all alone on a ‘Sales’ rack in my favourite store, Lolita and I just knew it was going to be mine. Vintage sandals When my cousin headed back home to Rome, she conveniently left her low-heeled strap sandals behind….they cover the front of the foot like a web and are covered on colourful diamenties….just devine! And they’re sooo comfy These are a few of my favorite things, I also love sipping midori with lemonade, eating sushi on the run and listening to Carlos Santana’s guitar. Lying in the sun and hearing the waves crash around me puts me to sleep and I can never get sick of watching Sex and the City re- runs. |
