nothing better than heading out on the town with your bestie. Whether
you both deck yourselves out in couture or prefer jeans and T's,
AskBronny takes a look at girlfriend fashion.
So when you and your best gal pals decide to head out, who takes the longest to get ready? Who gets changed a zillion times and who always borrows your favourite shoes? Any of these scenarios sound familiar? Although, heading out with your pals can be a breeze…everyone is happy with what they’re wearing…no one’s wearing the same skirt…. Jetting out with your friends is a time when each of you can show off your individuality! For the single gals, heading into town on sparkling night can make even the worst of your days seem light years away. Or, if you’re all attached to the men of your dreams, then spending time with the girls and having a quiet drink is a great way to stay in touch with your besties. My friends and I are always sharing and borrowing the same things – belts, bags, dresses and jewelry. My besties – Kat and Rachel know that I always need to either borrow a bag or bangle…Does this sound like you too? Always have more bags, belts and jewelry than you think you need because chances are, one of your friends has a dress that would look great with your bag… The only thing you shouldn’t share with anyone is…your make up! Nobody wants cold sores or nasty infections! If you and your friends are desperate and need to share your make up, make sure you wash and dry all brushes and applicators before and after to avoid spreading any unseen germs. When my friend and I decide to hit a trendy Melbourne nightclub, we’re all in dresses and flat shoes so we can dance ourselves away! Although we’re usually all in dresses, each of us wears something that shows our personality. I’m in T-shirt dress, Kat is in something bright and Rachel is in a boob-tube dress. Before we even leave our front doors, making ourselves look pretty comes first! Now, are you a makeup/hair/ get dressed or a get dressed/makeup/hair type of girl? For me it’s doing my hair, then putting on my make up and then it’s deciding what to wear! The straighter is one of my favourite inventions because you can wear your hair straight and be bold or you can wear it curly and be sexy. Or, you can mix it up and have the men drooling over your gorgeous locks! I love bronzer because you can have summer glow even in winter! And shoes are a gem because even if you’re all in black, a gorgeous pair of shoes can really make any outfit stand out. Now if you and your besties prefer to wear heels when you venture out but hate getting those sharp pains on your toes, then why not bring a pair of flats with you! Oversized bags are a hit so hiding those ballet flats in your bag couldn’t be easier. Another girlfriend of mine, Lisa, always brings two pairs of shoes out – her heels and her flats. She brings a bigger bag and once her feet start to hurt, on come the flats! It’s relaxing and rejuvenating to spend time with your besties and there’s nothing better than hitting the town with them.
