Well the first thing that I have to say is not to dress for other people but to dress for yourself.

Forget about your friend and how she dresses – even though you think she looks fabulous, I am sure you can look just as fab!

Maybe take into consideration what she wears and then adapt that to yourself.  But then think about colors that you like and what your body is like and start to think about what will suit you.

Once you have figured out what works on you and what doesn’t you will be definitely starting to look good.

Roman sandles are still very cool for a Summer look, so if it’s hot you could wear a pair of sandles, team that with a pair of shorts in a bright color with a cuff and then wear a singlet tucked in.  You could ever wear a stripey singlet with this look. Then grab some accessories and you are done.
