What's hot this Summer! Bronny gives you her hot tips on what the top five trends are this season. Bright Colors, wedges, the maxi dress and more!
I thought I'd get in early with my hot tips of what's coming in for Summer or indeed you gals on the other side of the globe are already enjoying wearing!
Here's my hot five! If you’re in the Northern Hemisphere then you're already enjoying the sunshiney weather – for those of you in the Southern get ready to add these hot items to your wardrobe: TShirt Dress I was in Sydney recently on fashion business and on my usual travellings around town picked up a vintage TShirt dress! Remember the TShirt dress? Very eighties indeed! Made of varying materials, the style is an elongated version of TShirt! My favorites are actually made of TShirt material. You'll also see versions with long and short sleeves. Stars seen sporting this look have included Gerry Halliwell, Cameron Diaz, Sienna, The Olsens and the eternally trendy Ms Moss. This style will look hot with a belt around the middle and a pair of heels or boots for a nighttime look. Wear your TShirt Dress during the day with a pair of thongs and your bikini – super cool. BONUS: This is a great yummy mummy style to adopt - go mums! Here’s one from Tsubi Maxi Dress We love the Maxi Dress, it covers a myriad of sins and looks fabulous in the Summertime for a day look. It’s vintage, flower power, hippy love child all the way with spaghetti straps, cap sleeves and an anything goes attitude. A long as it’s to the floor and flowing then you've got the Maxi style. Stars cavorting in their Maxi's include Uma Thurman, Ms Moss - always on top of the latest looks, Gerri Halliwell (she's so trendy these days) and Nicole Ritchie - of course! This is another style you yummy mummies can take on, keep your bump comfy under the flowing fabrics while you become a real flower power hippy mum. How gorgeous is this one! Wooden & Metal Accessories Keep an eye open for accessories that team wood and metal together. Hot in pendents, rings, bracelets and earrings. We love this country meets the city look and suggest funaccessories.com.au for your purchases. The eighties are still in fashion so the bigger the earring hoop the better! Torquise is still hot and looks fab teamed with wood as well.
Don't throw out last seasons accessories yet! Charm necklaces and those big pendant necklaces are still in with the animal flavor still around.
Here's some accessories to make you drool.
- Torquise and wood heart necklace - Butterfly Pendent - Wooden earrings - Wooden ring - Hoops Bright Colors I’m talking bright yellow, watermelon, aqua and green! Definitely colors that should be worn by younger girls with an ability to hold these bright colors. If you’re an older girl and love your brights why not follow this trend in bright colored heels, havianas or handbags. Wedges The wedge is still in, bigger and better. Go for a cork heel or a wooden heel, just make sure it’s a wedge. Wedges twist material over the front of your foot while supporting your weight with the super comfy wedge. We love the wedge because it’s so much better for your back and ankles. A high heel that’s actually good for you! Could it be true? The wedge revives 70s glamour … teamed with your maxi dress and you’ll be the perfect 70s hippy girl.
PS. This is another great one for our yummy mummies to support those tired ankles.
SO that's my headsup and for those of you sweltering don't forget to slip on sunscreen, slap on a hat and remember a tan looks good now - but in fifty years it could turn you into a raison.
Love Bronny xxxx
