You can wear any kind of skirt except for floor length. I would suggest something just above the knee for a stylish look however shorter skirts can work well for an evening look. It really depends on your shape. A pencil skirt is perfect for creating that figure hugging Audrey Hepburn look. A mini will be a hot look if you have long slim legs or an A-Line skirt if you have thicker thighs and hips. So have a look at your shape and then choose based on that. I think a pencil skirt with boots and a sweater always looks elegant and stylish.
