Feeling a little opaque

In the colder parts of the world opaque stockings are back in fashion. Here’s our top tips on bringing these tights into your wardrobe.

The Skinny: black opaques make ALL legs look slim. We kid you not, they are pure genius in lengthening and thinning the leg.
Color My World: Opaques have made a comeback not just in black but in red, purple and blue! Make sure you don’t go overboard with color with the rest of your outfit if you choose to brighten your outfit up with colored opaques.
Boot Up: Opaques look great with boots, it’s the same idea as leggings, team your boots and opaques with whatever you would have worn with your leggings, just make sure it covers your derrierre!
Fit: Make sure you get a pair of opaques that are the right size for you. There’s nothing worse than spending half the day with that feeling your crotch is hanging between your knees. If you’re wearing an outfit that can get away with it – do a bit of double knicker action, knickers under, opaques in the middle and the 2nd pair of knickers over the top to keep those opaques up. Correctly fitted opaques shouldn’t come down.
It’s Quality: Spend a little more on your opaques and you’ll find they will last a long time. There’s none of that worrying about ladders with this stocking due to the thick nature of the tight.
