I have a fancy dress coming up and since I adore this era of style I would love to dress as a fifties pin up girl and wow people.

However I really want to do this right, I want to look good but am finding it hard to keep the look great without going over the top, (too little clothes on me).

I would love some advice on this look and any other suggestions

The fifties were a gorgeous time for fashion and I think would look fantastic in fancy dress.

I think the key here is less is more. The fifties pinups generally wore a gorgeous bikini and that was it! You could go as a classic style Playboy Bunny or Cigarette Girl which would be cute. Or you could emulate Brigette Jones in her bunny outfit which had a bit of the fifties pinup about her.

I think the best thing to do is pick one you want to emulate and then go for that style.
