Jacket for a Wedding
Written by Bronny

QUESTION

Dear Bronny,

I have to attend a wedding in April and the weather report isn't looking to good. Im 17 and ive already bought my dress, it's just a plain purple dress with pinky stripes at the bottom. I was wondering if you had any ideas for a jacket or something to wear over it as its likely to be bitter.

Thanks
Claire

ANSWER

Hi Claire,

I think a swing jacket would be gorgeous with your dress. I’d get the jacket in black or white or even a nude color so you can wear it over and over again. If not a swing jacket then opt for a trench. Make sure the jacket sits between the knee and hip so not too long and not too short – you want it to cover most of the dress but leave some of the bottom of the dress showing.

Here are a couple of jackets to give you and idea of what I’m talking about:

Option 1
Option 2
Option 3
Option 4
Option 5
Option 6

Have a great time at the wedding!

Love
Bronny
