Today I went down to Carlisle Accessories to check out their amazing range of, well, accessories really. With all of their items hand picked by the lovely owner Leanne, Carlisle Accessories is THE place to go if you want to look HOT for this year’s Spring Racing Carnival, or for any other occasion for that matter.

Stocking Melbourne’s largest range of colourful and decadent men’s and women’s hats, one is not disappointed to find names like Kangol, Akubra, Coal Headwear, Brixton, and  Cassel Goorin in the men’s section, as well as a DIVINE collection of 1920’s - 1940’s inspired women’s hats, fascinators and flapper bands by both the talented and coveted milliners Memsahib and Ward & Wylie.

But wait there’s more! If you want a glamorous or stylish clutch to go with that hat or fascinator* then you can buy a very affordable one from designers Olga Berg or Arminee & Frank. While you’re at it why not buy the most beautiful piece of jewellery that the store stocks – the glittering Josh range from Holland, complete with the most dazzling Swarovski crystals. And to top it all off, you might as well buy a pair of sexy Doc Marten high heel boots or some Spank underwear to go with your designer dress.

However a final warning!  If, like me, you are an accessories addict then Carlisle Accessories will either be heaven or hell for you. Heaven because they have so much to choose from and hell because you just can’t afford it all. Either way get down there and see their amazing range for yourself.

*Fact – a fascinator is only a fascinator if it has a veil.
