Bronny, I'm sure you'll find my question funny, but it's a serious question. I'm male, and an NFL Football fan, but not the redneck many football fans can be. I have an astute fashion sense compared to most men, at least according to past girlfriends. I recently bought a Pittsburgh Steelers Soft Shell Jacket. It's all black, with a single yellow stripe running around a mock collar and halfway down the arm. The Steelers Logo is on the LEFT chest. I also have some all black Pittsburgh Steelers Shorts, with the Steelers Logo on the LEFT leg. The jacket and shorts are made of different fabrics, however. The jacket is stretch polyester soft shell, and the shorts are polyester mesh. Is it a fashion mistake to wear the jacket and shorts together? I would imagine it's a mistake, for the following reasons: 1. If it's cold enough for a jacket, you should be wearing pants. 2. When wearing a top & bottom that are the same color, the fabric of both must be identical. The matching logos on the left chest and left leg help bring the 2 together, but not enough. Your thoughts? Yours, Alex ANSWER Hi Alex, I wouldn't wear more than one item of clothing at any one time with the same logo on it. The rule is generally that if one item has a logo on it - you wouldn't then wear more clothes with the same logo. It starts to look like overkill and rather than being complimentary is distracting. It's a very 'ghetto' look - which is fine if that's what you're after, if not - then I'd avoid going into logo overdrive. If you wear one of the items with the logo - then try for something plain to balance the look.
