Our newest AskBronny writer brings us her favorite things. From Manolo's to vintage hats to statements rings and bags - Vanessa certainly has one wardrobe to be coveted - covet covet covet - take a peek inside her wardrobe now.
Choosing your favourite pieces of clothing is like being asked to choose the favourite out of your children (so I would imagine), but finally I have picked my top ten! I had a lot of fun shooting these, and I am by no means a model, but I thought they deserved to be flaunted a little bit and ... why not!
Perfect party skirt! It has such a playful feel to it you cannot do anything else but have fun in this Forever New black and white tartan number! It’s also a great alternative to jeans teamed with a white tee and black boyfriend blazer for a ladies dinner.
You’ll get to know as you go along that I am not one to shy away from colour, so when I came across this stunning flower kimono from Brisbane designer VINCIJA I fell in love instantly. It works for a summer BBQ and also as a tunic by the pool. (check out her designs, they’re amazing!)
I bought this vintage hat from the Round She Goes vintage market for an absolute steal! It is the perfect bad hair day solution and gives a little something extra to a jeans and tee day.
My 2 special jewellery loves! The French penny ring was a find at the Suzuki Night Markets in 2008 from a local designer who unfortunately, I have forgotten the name of and this beautiful 1920’s vintage necklace given to me from my amazing fiancée all the way from Manchester!
Love is not enough to describe my feelings for these shoes! Like most women, I am in lust with Carrie Bradshaw’s wardrobe, so when the opportunity presented itself to get a hold of something Carrie related, how could I have said no?!
Everyone needs a blazer in their collection, and this sequin Witchery jacket is the perfect alternative to spice things up! I am oh so slightly obsessed with sequins, so when I saw this blazer it was a must have.
Yep ... another sequin number! This was one of many great buys from Ebay. Being a t-shirt dress it’s so comfortable to wear and still manages to give a huge ‘wow’ factor.
Last, but definitely not least, are my statement pieces. No outfit is complete without a little something to make it stand out. I am a huge advocate for big rings and colourful clutch’s. I hope you’ve all had as much fun reading about my top ten as I had choosing them! A huge thanks for the fantastic Rose & Larissa for your help (and patience). Enjoy! |
