| Wearing Velvet With An Hourglass Figure |

Hi Bronny I've noticed that velvet is back in for winter fashion. Like George Costanza, I love velvet (Remember the episode where he said he would roll around naked in it if he could?!). However, I find it quite unflattering on my 165cm size 12 hourglass figure. Any advice? Cheers, Lara ANSWER Hi Lara, Well gorgeous lady - to be honest, I think with your new BANGING figure that you COULD get away with just about anything. I think the best thing to do would be to look for a fitted, stylish velvet dress. You know the kind that hugs your curves in all the right places. This means you get the gorgeous lush feel of velvet, but the style of the dress is going to compliment your shape. Another alternative would be to get a shirt with velvet applique or ribbon feature, there are a few styles around that are silk / kind of see through and have this velvet featuring. You could also get a dress with an empire cut that has some velvet on it but as a feature, perhaps at the top of the design. Have a look at this style, but think longer, down to the knee for something figure hugging: http://www.ohmylove.co.uk/pictures/products/14/large_Oh%20my%20love%20Dec053.jpg This for length: http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_a_39btV33w8/SvuX4XumzAI/AAAAAAAAVqE/Ce2HUyziVGg/s400/samba+dress.jpg It's either all the way or a little bit I feel. Love Bronny xxxx |
