QUESTION Hi Bronny I’m a guy and I am wondering if this is a good combo? Brown shoes with navy jeans with a white shirt and grey waistcoat, I’m going to a burlesque show and it says you need to go smart. I was thinking a bowlers hat aswell. Have I got the right ideas of matching my clothes?

ANSWER Hi Daniel, I like the sound of your outfit! I actually have had this question once before! When I think of Burlesque I think of Dita VonTeesek and Baz Lurhman's Moulin Rouge. I suggested to a male friend of mine once that he wear a top hat and tails to his burlesque party with fishnets underneath that he every now and then would show off when asked how his outfit was burlesque! While this isn't for everyone, he told me that his outfit was a huge success. Your outfit sounds great however, kind of sideshow circus burlesque. I'd paint on a curly moustache and slick your hair back in the 20s style (think Great Gatsby) and you should be fine. Love Bronny xxxx |
