Hi Bronny, I need to make a decision fast and my question is - can black velour suit be worn to an evening wedding in October? The top is 3/4 sleeve with satin creme cuffs and the collar is V shape with same color. The material is actually 90% ployester and 10% spandex so it is light weight, but it looks like velour. Can you e mail me back pretty pleeezzzzze.
ANSWERThank you! Linda Hi Linda, The rule is that you wouldn't wear black to a wedding or white as these colors are for the bride and groom or you wear black to a funeral. That said if you teamed your outfit with some bright colors like red shoes and a white blouse or red and white blouse you probably could wear it. I'd suggest looking for a pretty cocktail dress if you can afford it and leave the black for another time. You might be able to wear just the jacket and team that with a dress. Either way whatever you choose wear it with confidence and a smile and have fun. Love Bronny xxxx |
