What a great question!  For those of us around the 80s we will remember the legwarmers teamed with stiletto’s well.  Back then it was not a fashion for the lighthearted and one would say it is still a look requiring careful consideration.
My advice is that it’s not ok to take out a contract on the Fashion Editors who are promoting this trend - purely because I don't want to see you go to jail!  Jokes aside I also do not want to see people go to Fashion Jail which personally I think this is one trend that is criminal to wear.
It is certainly a look that you might see on the catwalk, however pulling the warmers on over the stilettos to go and get a drink or a bite to eat is just going to come off as looking ‘unfashionably fashionable’.
If you choose to try this trend then as I always say – wear it with confidence and style, as though you were meant to wear it.
On the other hand if you value my advice, I would say steer clear and you won't be committing fashion crimes anytime soon!
