Dear Bronny,
What about yummy mummies, what should they be wearing? Soooo many people are having babies and really some of the stuff is just drab. Why when you are pregnant would you want to go out looking like a floral pineapple? Some of the stuff I saw just made me shudder.

Dear Groovy Mummy,
What you say is true! There really are some terrible maternity clothes out there and it can be quite a nightmare trying to get clothes that don't cost a fortune and still look good.
My advice is to stick to stretchy fabrics and to also buy things that you do like one size larger, by simply buying what you would normally buy a size larger you can still manager to keep your own image and fit into great items.
The one thing I would definately suggest you invest in is a pair of maternity jeans as if you're not quite Kate Moss sticking to your usual jeans could prove uncomfortable, especially depending on where your baby is sitting. There are actually some great ones available for yummy mummies these days such as these ones from TopShop in the UK (which ships to Australia and most parts of the globe now).
There are a particularly good pair of maternity jeans made by Ripe which has stores in Melbourne and Perth and possibly more stores to be opened soon judging by their popularity (including Princess Mary as a fan). That's right these jeans are so popular with pregnant mums to be that Princess Mary actually came to Melbourne to get a pair! I also have friends who rave about these jeans.
If you don't have access to the store, you might like to try eBay for a pair, here's some I found.
Otherwise do a search for 'maternity jeans' and you should be able to find some good ones on eBay.
For tops, billowy peasant tops always look great, and remember, you are pregnant - NOT fat, dress to show off your bump because it is beautiful as are you. Love Bronny xxxx
